Manarisms is a string of political commentary briefly interrupted by a penchant for music, art, cheese, and Radiohead (not necessarily in that order).  It is the expression of a point of view, which does not nor will it ever proclaim neutrality. This point of view reflects the unique journey of its author’s identity, reality and politics.  A series of amazing and brilliant people entered the life of the former Math and Physics geek, music and art enthusiast and turned her attention to the realm of politics.  This Cairene immigrant speaks for neither Egyptians, nor Arabs, Americans, Muslims, humanists, feminists, women, vegetarians, animal lovers, nor… well you get the point. Manarisms is both an ephemeral glimpse into all these identities and a distinct product of their intersection.  Therefore, it captures the essence of only one thing: its writer.
